Lightning To Blame For Peoria Fire

Severe weather is to blame for a vacant house fire in Peoria.

It happened at 1312 South Faraday around 11:00 p.m. Thursday.

News Partner News 25 reports when firefighters arrived, they saw fire coming from a second floor window and roof area of the home.

The fire was contained to the attic and roof.

No one was injured.

Damage is estimated around $10,000.
