HOI Fair Worker Held At Gunpoint

Police are looking for three men who robbed a Heart of Illinois Fair worker.

41-year-old Robert Poore said he met a man named Rocky while working at the Fair on Thursday.

News Partner News 25 reports that Poore offered to meet the man later that night at the Red Roof Inn to discuss giving him a job.

Just before midnight, Poore told police Rocky and two other men forced their way into his room, pointing a gun at him, and threatening to shoot.

They ran off with around $600 in cash and jewelry.

Police are investigating.
