Employee Shot At Crusens On Farmington Road

An employee of Crusen’s on Farmington Road is injured following a shooting early Thursday morning.

Authorities say the injury is non-life threatening.

Peoria County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the bar at 2117 W. Farmington just before 4:30 a.m. after bar hours. A male employee was shot and taken to the hospital.

Sheriff Brian Asbell said the incident wasn’t related to a robbery. He said the shooting occurred inside the bar.

The suspect has been detained in Vermillion County.  Police are continuing to investigate. We will update the story when we receive more information.
