East Peoria To Light Up Folepi’s Enchanted Forest

Lighting up the Levee District for the holidays.

The 35-foot tall Christmas tree in Folepi’s Enchanted Forest walk-thru display will be lit up for the holiday season Saturday night during an event featuring carols by the Caterpillar Employees Mixed Chorus.

Miss Festival of Lights Jerelyn Joos will lead the countdown to turn on the lights.

Santa Claus will be at the giant Christmas tree to visit with kids until 7:30 p.m.

Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be availale from 5:30-7:30.

The display features the festival’s 35-foot-tall Christmas tree, live trees with decorations by East Peoria grade school students, a lighted archway, a giant inflatable snowman, and the Terry the Tractor float from the Parade of Lights.

Lighting festivities will begin at 5:45 p.m. at 401 W. Washington Street in the East Peoria Levee District.
