Demolition of Bradley University’s Baker Hall has begun.

The demolition will lead to construction of a new business and engineering complex on the hilltop.

The new complex will be constructed along Main Street and will replace not only Baker Hall, but also the current Jobst Hall on the Bradley campus.

The new complex will house the Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology and the Foster College of Business.

Announcing the project in February, Bradley University President Gary Roberts said the new complex “will enable collaboration between disciplines and provide cutting edge technology and facilities that will enhance our outstanding academic programs.”

“I assure you it will improve our infrastructure, increase our space and enrich the programs we already have in place,” Robert said.
