‘Ahen’ Wins Top Prize For Pekin Police

K9 ‘Ahen’ wins national contest for Pekin Police.

The well-known K9 officer has won $5,000 for the Pekin Police Department from Aftermath, a clean up and biohazard company.

To win the money, ‘Ahen’ beat out K9s from 3,300 police departments nationwide.

‘Ahen’ came in second in the contest last year.

Pekin Police say they will use the prize money improve the city’s K9 program.
