Walls Pleads Not Guilty in Booth Murder

The suspect in a Peoria homicide in May pleads not guilty.

37-year old Sean Walls was arraigned at the Peoria County Courthouse Thursday.
Walls faces two counts of first degree murder, after being charged for the shooting death of 22 year old Derrick Booth, Junior.

On May 24th, Booth was found shot in the chest in the 800 block of South Greenlawn.
Derrick Booth Jr. was the son of Manual High School boys basketball coach Derrick Booth Sr. and the stepson of State Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth.

Walls turned himself in a few days later after being identified as the suspect.
