The Tazewell County Health Department is bringing the UnityPoint Methodist Mammogram Van to Mackinaw Friday.
Women without insurance, between 40 and 64, can get a free mammogram without an appointment.
And, everyone that qualifies to get a mammogram will receive a $25.00 gas card and be put into a drawing for an overnight stay later this year.
"Funding from a program with the Illinois Lottery allows us to offer these free mammograms, and incentives to get women to come out and get checked," says Sara Sparkman with Tazewell County Health Department.
Sparkman says women should bring proof of age and household income, including two paycheck stubs.
The UnityPoint Methodist Mammogram Van will be at Mackinaw Christian Church Friday morning from
8:30 to 11:00.
