Storms Bring Heavy Rainfall; Power Outages

A summer type weather pattern with warm/humid conditions and periodic chances of thunderstorms will continue through Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms developed over Peoria and extended south and west-ward into Fulton County.

The Storms will continue into early hours of Friday and may briefly produce strong gusty winds and hail..as well as very heavy rainfall. The storms are expected to stay below severe limits as they move east-norheastward 25-30 mph.

Peoria Police reported scattered power outages in the south part of Peoria; with traffic signals out or on flashing red through some intersections of the city.

Tree limbs also reported on utility wires near Northmoor & Sheridan Rd. There are reports of scattered power outage's in Pekin and Tazewell County.
