A Peoria apartment fire is put out by a sprinkler before fire fighters arrive. Fire fighters did find light smoke coming from a fifth floor apartment at 301 NE Jefferson when they got there just after 9:00 Monday night. Crews used shopvacs and squeegees to mop up the water damage left from the sprinkler. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
