President Waiting To Decide Shinseki's Fate

(AP) There are growing calls in Congress for Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki to resign, but the White House says President Barack Obama is waiting for a full investigation into the department's health care system before deciding who should be held accountable.

Press secretary Jay Carney says Obama believes Shinseki has performed well overall, but he isn't saying whether the president still has full confidence in Shinseki.

An interim report from the VA's internal watchdog says there are systemic problems in the VA health care nationwide.
