Peoria Police and Bradley Police are investigating an armed robbery reported early Friday morning.
A man told authorities he was walking in the 800 block of University about 5:15am when two black males approached him and displayed handguns. The victim says he was pushed to the ground and the suspects went through his pockets before the man gave them his money.
The two robbers then got in a four door Cadillac Deville Sedan and headed north on University. Police responded to the area, but no suspects were found.
The suspects were described as both standing about 5'11 and weighing 160 pounds. The driver of the car was believed to be a female.
Police say the victim was not a Bradley student. Anyone with information is urged to call Bradley Police at 677-2000.
