Home Invasion Sentencing Delayed

The sentencing of a man linked to a series of home invasions in Peoria is delayed after his attorney withdraws from the case.

Stefan Crayton, 20, of Peoria pled guilty in March to residential burglary, and faces up to 12 years behind bars. Crayton's attorney, however, claims he has a conflict of interest with another client.

The Journal Star reports Judge Kevin Lyons assigned a new public defender for Crayton and rescheduled the sentencing to September 24th.
