GOP Gubernatorial Debate Thursday
The four Republican candidates for Governor will debate the issues in Peoria.
The debate will take place Thursday) at the WTVP studios and will be televised live on WTVP from 7-8:30 p.m.
The four candidates are State Sen. Bill Brady, State Sen. Kirk Dillard, businessman Bruce Rauner and State Treasurer Dan Rutherford.
WTVP's H. Wayne Wilson will be the moderator.
Panelists will include: Jim Meadows, senior reporter for public station WILL in Champaign; Jak Tichenor, host of Illinois Lawmakers from WSIU; Amanda Vinicky, statehouse bureau chief from WUIS in Springfield; and Chacour Koup, a student from the public affairs reporting program at the University of Illinois. Koop is an intern for the Associated Press.
There will be a viewing party at Kelleher's. All four candidates have been invited to stop by after the debate.
