There will be fireworks in Peoria on New Year's Eve after all. Event organizer Pat Sullivan had said he came $2,000 short of raising the money needed to pay for third annual display. Sullivan says the company furnishing the fireworks is donating the additional money. The fireworks will begin at 9:00 Saturday night, New Year's Eve, along the Illinois River between State Street and the Bob Michel Bridge.
