No one is hurt, but residents of a central Peoria apartment complex are looking for temporary housing after a fire.
Firefighters were called to the complex in the 2600 block of Hanssler Ct. around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, where a blaze had been sparked in the bedroom of one of the units. Crews contained the flames in about five minutes. Everyone was able to escape unscathed. The fire did about $32,000 worth of damage.
Officials say residents of seven of the complex's eight units are being helped by the Red Cross as they look for a place to stay while the building is cleaned up.
