Big Crowds Welcome St. Jude Runners

It seemed anywhere you went around the Peoria area Saturday afternoon you ran into a group of St. Jude Runners.

Runners on 36 teams, including the Memphis to Peoria Runners, were welcomed by large crowds as they made their way into Peoria.

Family members and supporters lined Fulton St. as the the groups each got recognized as they jogged into the Peoria Civic Center for the St. Jude Telethon.

One of the most excited people lining the street was six-year-old Josiah Quin from Princeville.

The youngster has been battling cancer since March.  He and his sister Karah could be seen cheering on the runners, especially

when the Princeville to Peoria Run went by, because that's the run that both his parents took part in this year.

Josiah's family says he's been handling chemo very well and he's gonna beat the cancer.
