Allegiant Air is announcing service to a new location from Peoria.
Non-stop service to Orlando Sanford International Airport will begin Nov. 14, with introductory fares as low as $76. Allegiant already provides non-stop service from Peoria to St. Petersburg and Punta Gorda, Florida - along with Mesa, Arizona and Las Vegas.
“We are thrilled to offer more convenient, low-cost vacation options to more communities,” said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company president and COO. “Allegiant is committed to providing our customers the opportunity to save money on their vacations by offering the lowest possible fares and nonstop travel service to world-class vacation destinations."
The Peoria to Orlando flight is one of five new routes announced by Allegiant on Tuesday. Belleville and Bloomington, Illinois will begin offering non-stop flights to St. Petersburg, Florida in November. The airline also expanded services for airports in Concord, North Carolina, and Huntington, West Virginia.
