CHILLICOTHE, Ill. — We’re learning more about a man who was found dead at Summer Camp this past Memorial Day weekend.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identifies the deceased individual as 44-year-old Chase S. Edwards of Washington, Illinois.
According to a news release, on Sunday morning around 9:45, bystanders noticed Edwards’ lying dead between two parked cars.
Harwood says there was no sign of trauma and no foul play is suspected.
There are no other details released about precisely when Edwards died.
An autopsy on Edwards is scheduled for Tuesday.

CHILLICOTHE, Ill. — The Peoria County Coroner confirms a man died at this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival.
Coroner Jamie Harwood was called to the parking area of Three Sisters Park around 9:45 a.m. Sunday, where a man in his 40s was found deceased.
The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of family.
This is the second death at Summer Camp in the last two years.
An autopsy is planned for Tuesday.
