PEORIA, Ill. — It’s not just a car show at Bradley University, it’s a chance to grow the area of automotive engineering.
Bradley University hosted a classic car show this weekend, including as many as 60 colorful, souped up and decked out classic cars.
But it was also a chance for the local Society of Automotive Engineers to talk to other current or aspiring gear-heads about what it takes to make or maintain a great driving machine.
Naturally, with an eye toward growing the Society’s membership younger as well, in an emailed statement, SAE said it believes student members are “vital to the continued success and future of engineers.”
Saturday was the return of the classic car show at Bradley University after taking several years off.
