"Click It Or Ticket" This Holiday Weekend

The annual Labor Day Weekend traffic safety crackdown is underway.

The end of summer push to keep Illinois roads safe runs through Monday with a focus on catching drunk drivers, speeders, and those not buckling up.

Beefed up enforcement by Illinois State Police and local police will include extra patrols and roadside safety checks.

Motorists will get busted if they drink and drive.

So far this year, 562 people have died on Illinois roads. That's an 83-percent drop from this time last year.
